So you want to try out a day’s experience or a canoe and/or kayak expedition on your own? Interested in the canoe-camping adventure without a guide? Great!
You can rent the gear for your paddling adventure: just the boat (etc.), or just the shuttle transportation service (if you bring your own boat), or both of them.

If you book over the phone, a 25% deposit will be required in order to confirm your booking.
If you book online, the total amount of your invoice will be charged. You will find all our canoe and kayak rental rates, in Canadian dollars, taxes included, at the end of your online order.
Please note that a minimum price for transportation must be reached to make a departure. This price varies by river and requires between 2 and 4 people to reach it. Otherwise, a surcharge will be applied to your reservation.

NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE 2024 SEASON
Our guided packages of one day or less in canoe or kayak will allow you to learn the pleasure of paddling in the river. Our multi-day canoe or kayak packages are an ideal opportunity to learn about canoe-camping. You will be able to learn these water sports in a safe environment and an enchanting setting. Your guide will teach you the different paddle strokes to develop your basic techniques and improve your reading of the river in order to avoid obstacles and maximize the pleasure.

The tip is a financial compensation that varies between 10$ and 30$ per day per person depending on your level of appreciation of your guide’s services. We base our tips on the standards of the tourist industry. This information is for information purposes only. Thank you.
Each of our packages requires a minimum of 4 to 6 people for an outing but it is possible to join an existing group if you are less than 4 or if you are alone.

A lunch break is scheduled halfway through the trip, giving you the opportunity to swim in the clear water of the river and talk with your guide about the fauna and flora of the region. You may be lucky enough to spot river salmon, eagles, beavers and even otters. It is an ideal descent to change your mind, come back with a head full of memories and maybe a little…sunburn.

River navigation technique, topo/hydrographic map analysis, interpretation of the aquatic environment and wildlife can be discussed during this package.
The “NOMAD” package
Duration: 5 days

Rivers: Kedgwick and Restigouche

Live the ultimate experience of going on a 5 day expedition with a group. We must admit, an expedition is much more than just paddling miles. It is also a human experience. A return to community life, where everyone plays an important role. Rain or shine, you will learn a lot about yourself during the trip, in addition to all the river techniques that you will have time to practice and master. The upper Kedgwick River offers us some beautiful sections of rough river, including the Rapid Depot (Class R2). You can even make a stop to jump off the bridge if there are no fishermen in sight.
Several camp opportunities are available to you before continuing your journey on the Restigouche River. Your guide will cook you good meals over the fire, as the pioneers of the region did; a fire, which at each camp will provide comfort, warmth and light near a stream. The expedition then continues on the Restigouche River, where the landscape opens on an exceptional valley where trees, lakes, and especially the rivers which abound in salmon, made the fame of the region.
